Monday evening, I plopped my very sick ass (sick as in ill, not sick as in hot) on the couch to watch the PBS documentary The Chinese Exclusion Act. I knew that the Chinese Exclusion Act had passed in 1882 but I really didn’t understand the context or the impact, and I was excited to learn.
